Derek Rose is delighted to introduce our new mens slippers collection. We have a number of different slipper styles available ranging from the mule (or 'scuff' slipper as it is known in America) to the classic Grecian slipper. The materials range from a softly tanned leather to the gently brushed suede on the uppers. Linings (or 'inners' as they are professionally referred to) are either leather or sheepskin and the suede sole ensures hard wear with maximum flexibility and comfort. Colours include navy, bordeaux, black and brown across a selection of slipper styles. The slippers are made here in England at a specialist factory that has been manufacturing slippers for longer than they care to remember! We are very pleased that we offer such beautiful products that have been based on our designs and we are sure you will love them. Since we were so taken by the whole slipper making process, we decided to make a very simple video of the manufacturing process as we walked round the factory - you can see this video here. We hope you find it interesting and instructive. We really enjoyed learning about the process and we love the attention to detail that goes into these slippers. What you don't see on the video which is hard to communicate are the process by which they ensure each slipper in the pair is made from the exact same piece of leather or suede and the time spent quality controlling the slippers. It is this authenticity of manufacturing, dedication to excellence and design appeal that make these slippers so wonderful.
