The Night Sky Print Collection

The Night Sky Print Collection

There’s something quietly compelling about the night when the wind picks up. Clouds drift, the sky deepens, and the world outside feels in motion — while indoors, everything slows. Our new Night Sky print collection is designed to capture that contrast.

An Archive Revisited

Created as part of our SS26 centenary collection, Night Sky draws from the Derek Rose archive with a modern eye. The print takes its stylistic cue from Ledbury 12 Blue — a long-standing bestseller from the late 2010s — reinterpreted rather than replicated. It’s a nod to what has endured, refined for how we live now.

The result is a design that feels instinctively familiar: graphic yet soft, expressive yet easy to wear. A reminder that the most enduring designs are often the quietest.

A Windy Night, Rendered in Print

The design itself is fluid and linear, echoing the movement of the night sky. Gusts of wind sweep stylised clouds across a deep navy ground, creating a sense of rhythm and flow. There’s energy in the pattern, but it’s carefully balanced — never busy, never loud.

It’s the visual equivalent of looking out of the window on a dark, blustery evening: dramatic beyond the glass, reassuring within.

Across the Collection

Night Sky is designed to move easily across the way we dress at home — and beyond it. The print appears throughout the collection, scaled and placed to suit each category while retaining its sense of flow and atmosphere.

Available in long and short sleeve pyjama sets, the design is realised in lightweight cotton batiste — chosen for its smooth handle, breathability and gentle drape against the skin. The fabric feels cool and crisp, ideal for uninterrupted sleep, while the print brings depth and character to classic silhouettes. These styles pair naturally with our cotton dressing gowns for cooler evenings.

Across underwear, the boxer shorts and briefs are designed to sit comfortably beneath loungewear or nightwear, these pieces are easy to live in and effortless to wear — a subtle extension of the nightwear story.

On lounge trousers, the linear movement of the design feels relaxed and fluid, lending itself to slow mornings and unhurried evenings at home. Paired with a plain jersey top or a softly structured knit, they form an off-duty uniform with ease.

Night Sky reflects a belief we’ve held for a century: that what you wear at night matters just as much as what you wear during the day — perhaps more so.
